FastTrack Continues to Grow Despite Economic Forecast
July, 2008
Bucking the trend of recent RCSA member research claiming 71 per cent of respondents were concerned about the economy, FastTrack has experienced steady growth across Australia.
In 2007-08, FastTrack added 25 new clients in Western Australia alone. According to Leonie Hill - Director, Sales & Client Relationships, “The positive trend illustrates how many recruitment companies are turning to fully integrated software solutions as a means of safeguarding against economic downturn.”
Hill elaborated: “With a slowing economy predicted it is encouraging to see how many businesses are recognising the importance of streamlining their operational workflows. Solutions that eliminate tedious processes and create genuine efficiencies will become increasing sources of competitive advantages.”
Continued Growth Supported by Innovative Training Services
An expanding client base demands more flexible service offerings. With this in mind, a major preoccupation for FastTrack’s Learning & Development team is bridging the geographical separation of clients. With FastTrack offices located in Melbourne and Sydney it is an ongoing requirement to ensure clients around the country have access to high level training services.
One new innovation successfully bridging the divide is the introduction of Training Needs Analysis delivered via WebEx – i.e. FastTrack’s online conferencing tool that provides real-time, personalised conferencing to a client’s computer. This new service ensures clients in neighbouring states can receive the benefits of an in-depth Training Needs Analysis whilst eliminating extraneous travel costs and ensuring prompt service delivery.
Likewise, many Desktop clients have also embraced WebEx training sessions. These sessions not only provide obvious service and cost efficiencies, but also deliver the hands on experience one would expect from a classroom session. Moreover, as FastTrack’s international expansion gains further momentum, WebEx in conjunction with Skype™ ensures FastTrack clients around the world have access to training.
