FastTrack’s Senior Product Architect, David McHugh, has been an invaluable asset for much of the company’s 15 year history. As one of the longest serving team members, David has just reached his milestone 10 year anniversary.
Originally joining FastTrack as a Junior Programmer, David has since been involved in the majority of the company's recruitment solution product innovations over the last decade. He is responsible for the make up of FastTrack products and identifying new technologies that will most benefit clients.
So why is David’s commitment so important to FastTrack clients? The answer is experience. As anyone involved in recruitment understands, experience is not easily equalled or replaced. And that is why commitment like David’s is invaluable. Importantly, long-term commitment is a common theme within FastTrack particularly in areas such as Account Management, Client Services and Professional Services.
According to David, “With experience comes knowledge, and knowledge is how we can continue to successfully service the needs of our clients. Without a deep customer understanding you can’t possibly provide services that meet and ideally exceed their needs. Of course real understanding takes time”.
Given the dynamic nature of both the recruitment and recruitment software industries, FastTrack prides itself on having an unchanging team. Many clients have worked with the same FastTrack personnel for years establishing intimate and productive relationships. These relationships are the result of an ongoing dialogue and are the cornerstone of FastTrack’s service offerings.
With a 40 per cent staff expansion set for 2007, it is easy to forget that FastTrack’s foundations are still very much those who helped shape the company early on. Today, FastTrack’s aim is to continually harness fresh talent with sound experience.
